people need to stop being so toxic about the dsmp. i get it isn’t everyone’s thing but it isn’t this super evil minecraft server of groomers. that was one guy and the allegations came out at the end of the dream smp’s lifespan. also, despite being in the title, dream hardly played on the server and never streamed or recorded his gameplay. he was basically just there for promo!! the vast majority of dream smp fans weren’t dream stans, they were there for the dozens of other creators playing on the server. in fact, there has even been beef between dream smp fans and dream stans!! anyways, it’s just a roleplay series, and i don’t see people sending death threats to fans of streamed dnd campaigns.

knightobreath

dream didn’t only appear every once in a while to be his shitty little villain character he also managed the server’s organization so poorly that NEARLY EVERY CHARACTER AND PLOT got either a rushed, unsatisfying ending or was dropped off the face of the earth. he was not fit to manage a group of 20+ people writing and acting out stories together and the smp failed to end anything because of it.

“Why are you so upset about adult content bans? You don’t even post that stuff. can’t you just look at porn somewhere else?”

Well, you see, I have this small problem where my very existence is considered adult content by a small but very powerful group of people and I actually rather enjoy being able to exist in public without restriction so uhhhh put that in your bong and smoke it kiddo.

A soon-to-be papa 🐉 who waits for his baby's egg to hatch like he's checking every minute for any progress on his Amazon delivery.

🐉: "Has it hatched yet?"

🌸: "No..."

🐉: "I see."

🐉: "What about now?"

🌸: "It's been three minutes since you last asked. No it hasn't."

🐉: "Why not?"

🌸: "What do you mean why not? How would I know?"

🐉, knocking on the egg: "Come out already, child."

🌸: "Why are you pressuring the baby?!"

🐉: "Tell it to come out. Maybe it'll listen to you."

🌸: "Are you okay? And what if it's still a yolk?"

🐉: "Sebek, can you ask your father why my child is taking so long to hatch?"

🐊: "My liege... My father is a dentist... Not an ob gyne..."

🐉: "Oh? Are you defying me now, Sebek Zigvolt?"

🐊: "Of course not! Why, I would never dream of it! I shall ask him immediately! EXCUSE ME FOR A WHILE!"

🌸: "Can you please stop bullying the poor boy?"

See, this is the trick conservatives are trying to pull.

They'll justify banning gender affirming care for minors by saying there just isn't enough data on the safety and efficacy of things like puberty blockers and hormones (despite these treatments existing since at least the early-1980's).

Then they'll turn around and ban any studies into the effects of gender affirming care for minors.

So "we don't have enough information" becomes a perpetual excuse because we can never seek the information. It's absurd!

Tumblr Migration 2: Reddit Boogaloo

We all know about the Twitter immigrants, but there seems to be radio silence on what's happening now with Reddit users from certain subreddits doing a similar thing.

What's happening?

Reddit is restricting their API later this month and killing off third-party apps. An AMA (Ask Me Anything) with the CEO Steve Hoffman was held and it was clear that he would continue with the changes.

In protest, thousands of subreddits across the site are planning to go dark for 48 hours on June 12th. Some are planning to continue indefinitely until the changes are reversed.

Okay, so how does this affect Tumblr?

Some subreddits (mainly queer and left-leaning meme ones, don't worry too much about Reddit Atheists™ overrunning us) are encouraging their users to jump ship to our beloved - and beloathed - hellsite. There will be another influx of new users and many will be unfamiliar with how the site works.

What do us Tumblr users do?

Show them how to use the site; introduce them to the site's culture, tell them to reblog shit and curate their dashboard. Sorta like how we welcomed Twitter users back when they flocked here. Kungpowpenising optional.

I'm new from Reddit, what do I do here?

CHANGE YOUR PROFILE PICTURE AND BANNER TO SOMETHING OTHER THAN DEFAULT BECAUSE THIS SITE IS FILLED WITH BOTS AND YOU MIGHT BE MISTAKEN FOR ONE. This is the FIRST thing you should do after getting a blog.

Other folks can help you with stuff like curating your dashboard or creating sideblogs (or you can look shit up) but please, PLEASE just give yourself an icon and reblog some stuff so people don't mistake you for a bot

this is a "people who have kinky fantasies but can't act on them because of the body they have" appreciation post.

this is for kinksters with tummy bulge kinks who can't manage to take more than like a finger inside them. this is for kinksters who fantasize about getting throatfucked who can't do it because of their gag reflex. this is for kinksters who want to do suspension bondage but can't because of joint problems or other disabilities. this is for kinksters who want to do long, drawn out scenes, but can't because of chronic fatigue or pain. this is for trans kinksters who fantasize about using parts they don't currently have.

ily and it doesn't make you a worse dom or sub <3

Hot take: The much quieter level of corporate Pride this year is not worth celebrating.

Not because I want to spend my dollars on Pride merch sold by corporations that don’t care, but because the near-absence of corpo Pride is a canary in the coal mine. Corpo Pride is a barometer of sorts for social acceptance of the LGBTQ+ community. If Corpo Pride goes away, it should be because being LGBTQ+ is so normalized and seen as “no big deal” that there’s no message to ‘sell’ anymore; but what’s happening now is NOT that.

watercharizard

What IS happening then? Because I'm confused

hrefnatheravenqueen

What is happening is not that corporations are winding down the Pride displays and merch due to Pride being no big deal anymore because we live in a society where LGBTQ+ people are just seen as the same as everybody else.

What is happening is corporations are staying away from Pride because public shows of acceptance of LGBTQ+ people now comes at a much higher cost. For corporations, that cost is monetary. For people, that cost is physical violence - and I'm not saying it's new that people have been violent towards the LGBTQ+ community. I'm saying the violence is now much more widespread, and isn't just aimed at the community anymore, but at anybody who either supports the community or LOOKS LIKE they might belong to the community. Corporations deciding not to display rainbow logos and merch is just a sign of how bad things have actually gotten in the last few years.

TL;DR : Corporations "supported" us when it was easy. That many no longer visibly do so means it's no longer easy to do it. That's not a good thing.

Belphegor (Your chatroom with Belphegor)

MC: Hey Belphie.

Belphegor: Hey, what wrong?

MC: So... We all know that Beel loves sharing pic of food he found and tell us how amazing they are right?

Belphegor: Yeah...

MC: Well he sent me some weird text last night.

MC: He sounded drunk.

Belphegor: Oh.

MC: What's weird was the last thing he sent.

MC: It was a blurry pick of a hotdog. I don't if he cooked it wrong or something, but it almost looked like a dick.

MC: But that couldn't be right?

MC: I think Beel isn't the type who send dick pics right?

Belphegor: ...

MC: Belphie?

67 (the twins chatroom)

Belphegor: What the hell!!!

Beelzebub: I'm sorry. But I wanted to drop some hits but everything was fuzzy last night.

Belphegor: You're lucky that they think you sent a pic of a cooked hotdog, they couldn't tell with how blurry the pic is!

there’s… a lot to take in here…

I was so flummoxed by this I had to learn more, so I took to Google, where I found this blog post by Dan Cardone, who was a grip on this film. Some highlights:

This was the first set I had been on that featured three directors, and hopefully the last. One director was there to primarily film the sex scenes, which he did effectively and economically. The other two directors handled what is called in porn-lingo ‘B-Roll’, i.e. everything non sexual. Which on this film was substantial. The plot for To The Last Man involves two ranches populated entirely by horny men who have random sex and feud over water, as they are in the middle of a crippling drought. Which is why we filmed in Arizona during thunderstorm season…

It’s amazing no one got killed, or seriously injured. There was horse riding, there were fight scenes of rocky escarpments, there were drownings. When the real guns and live ammunition came out for a scene I thought, “That’s it, I’m going back to the truck”.

Fortunately, one of the models was also a fully qualified nurse, so that saved money, time and also lives. Plus, he was sexy, so it was win/win.
